A behind the scenes look at how we turned these plus size ladies into plus size super heroes.
From our Director of Marketing: I had a vision of unusual proportions. Ignited by frustrations, both personal and communal, I wanted to create a campaign that celebrates plus size women larger than a size 18. Like any action story, there have and always will be a villain. Physical or abstract, the kind of villain I envisioned was one that does some of the worst damage, damage to the self-esteem and self-confidence. The only way I know how to defeat this self-doubt is with confidence and community- so that’s what I created. I feel strongly that plus size fashion should be diversified. That plus size fashion can be admirable. That plus size fashion is best represented with confidence. Because confidence can overcome any insecurity or fatshamer. And through these feelings and experienced, I imagined a world where plus size women were super heroes - defenders of fashion equality and self-love revivalists.

We truly need to see more body diversity overall and that is something I feel very passionate about. My journey is far from over and I will continue to do my part in being a strong voice for those women who feel ignored, passed over and not marketed to. Fashion is for everyone!"
